Gorst makes the 1 and has a long shot to cut the 2 down the rail. He drills it and has a layup 3-9 combination.

Gorst breaks dry. Yapp pushes out to the rail at the opposite end of the table from the 1. Gorst makes him take the shot and Yapp fouls.

Gorst takes ball in hand and runs out despite leaving himself a less than ideal cut on the 5, and we have a tied match.

Gorst makes the 1 and can see the 2, but the 8 prevents it from seeing the corner. Gorst plays a great safety and leaves the cue and 2 at opposite ends of the table with the 3, 4, and 9 between them.

Yapp tries to swerve again and doesn't foul this time. Gorst has a clear line at the 2 but has attempt a safe shot again and fails. Yapp pockets the 2 and misses a backward cut on the 3 in the side. Gorst plays safe again.

Yapp kicks and hits the 3 with a favorable roll putting the 6 between the cue and 3. Gorst plays rail first and the 3 rolls to an awkward spot at the side pocket. Yapp misses.

Gorst pockets the 3 and leaves himself totally blocked. Attempts and fails at a 2 rail kick at the 4.

Yapp takes ball in hand and runs out.

Yapp pockets the 1 and 2 on the break, but doesn't have a shot on the 3. Push. Gorst makes him play it again, and Yappfails to play safe, leaving Gorst an easy shot on the 3.

Gorst makes a mistake and leaves himself tough on the 8, but he has space to see it. Plays a good shot and follows by making the 9.

Gorst makes the one and has a shot on the 2. Misses the shot and scratches.

Yapp takes ball in hand and misses on the 5.

Gorst can play safe or play a thin cut. He elects to play the latter and makes it, but bumps the 6 into an awkward spot. Plays a good safety.

Yapp kicks and leaves the cue ball hooked behind the 8. The jump cue comes back out. Gorst jumps and leaves Yapp an easy out.

Yapp is on the hill.
