Shame the timing clashes with World 9 ball in UK.
A lot of the big names won't be in this.

I guess these are considered as satellite events.

These will be the easiest US Open titles to win in years, if not ever. Good opportunity for a couple lucky players to burnish their Wikipedia profiles 🤪

Are the signups any better than they have been the past few years?

It is hard to want to buy the PPV for them when an event that has enough people for a day and half tournament is dragged out over three to four days, times four events.

Some strong players in this like Fedor Gorst, Carlo Biado, Lee Van Corteza, Roberto Gomez, Roland Garcia, Warren Kiamco, Josh Roberts, Edgie Geronimo, Jesus Atencio and others.

Interesting list. My guess is Biado and Gorst will be whales. I also noticed Jose Parica. No idea how much he has been playing but I always enjoyed his game.

he is 72 years, probably not a threat even in one hole. still fun to watch though. played the world 10-ball the other day

Player 26.
One Aussie.
See how he goes at this level, as its a step down from World 10 ball.

I wonder why Biado is not going to the UK?
He was invited but turned it down. Maybe he has weighed up the pros of competing in four US Open tournaments versus one stacked World Championship where he has a great chance but there are 20 other players with a great chance?

He declined an invite to the World Championship also which is in the UK. I think the only top Filipino on the list was Dennis. The Filipinos might still have trouble getting into UK. Purely a guess here, but it also wouldn’t surprise me if he’s staying in the US as long as possible if he’s worried about a ban. Just a guess.
