As of 09/15/08 there are only 95 entries. Of the 95 at least 20 are past winners that play for free. Does it fill up the last 3 weeks every year or has the economy grabbed a hold of this great event too? It's a long way to go for 256 players to enter as it stands now. Johnnyt

it fills up late every year... the day before the tournament there will probably be 100 new players calling in. they are pool players after all...

Thanks for the invite Dwight but Tampa to Tallahasse, FL is a little too much for me now a days. I'm more of a around the corner to 7-11 man now.

I ask all pool players to think about your health every day. I didn't listen...it's no fun all of a sudden. OK, I'm back off the box. Johnnyt

I never noticed it either. I think- but hope I am wrong- that #s will be low this year. There is some big shiit happening now and folks are tightening up.

IMO IMO IMO IMO~ Barry should really be pushing the qualifiers. 10-20% of entrants there as a result of them would likely be ez. ~IMO IMO IMO IMO
