On Sept 23rd & 24th at Great Slates in Cambridge, MD the Tiger Planet Pool tour will be hosting their annual US Open warm up. Room owner John Moody who is a very good player himself and friends to many of the pro's really goes all out for this one. He invites many of the pro's to come play and they oblige.

Allen Hopkins, Earl Strickland, Mike Davis, Tony Crosby, Shawn Putnam, Jose Parica, Warren Kiamco, Chris Szuter, Richard Broumpton, and our very own "TheOne" just to name a few were at last yrs event. On sunday once the players are eliminated, they start heading down to VA for the US Open that starts that Monday.

Anyone here have any plans on attending this event? It's about a 3 hr drive for me so I'll be heading down. Besides, I've got to get me another one of those tuna steaks... great slates is like many other "pool rooms" in the MD/VA area... they have phenomenal food. This place is actually known more for it's food, bar, & live bands than it is for it's pool. It really is 3 places in one... there's an early dinner crowd full of people that come strictly for the great food, the club crowd that comes later for the music, and the pool crowd. The pool room is off to the side in it's own room so players are not bothered by the non playing crowd.

I know it's a little over a month away but I'm already making my plans... I was just wondering if anyone else here plans on attending.

I just noticed that you took the majority of your photo's off of your webpage... what's up with that? I've got a few from the last US Open warm up if you want to post them on your site. :D

Also looks as if you have been a few places ion your time. Those pics are some awesome views of your travels. How long it take you to get your web designers degree? If you don't mind me asking?

Thanks, trying to find the time to update at the moment but hard to do the same thing you do all day when get home. It took 4 years to do my degree, not specifically web design just focused on that towards the end and landed a job with a good agency in London after I graduated. Hopefully will have some more pics and pool videos in coming weeks.

Cheers
