Thanks for the heads up! I'm watching right now. One thing I noticed is on a uniform there's an advertisement for PODS--very much not a pool-related sponsor. That can only be a good sign.

There is a woman in the Columbus Area that owns a PODS franchise that loves pool. She helps do stuff for the juniors and womens tournaments. She is a friend of mine and I know she helps Payne out.

Agreed that this is something to get excited about for the reasons you give but also because of something else I believe they have in common - they are all products of Ra Hanna's junior tour.

Wishing them well as they try to take it to the next level.

I don't remember Sam playing in any of the JIC events. Now I don't keep up with all of them so I could be wrong.

Sam prefers not to play in junior events. He will go to local junior events and help them though. Typically a pro event or a higher added money tournament is going on at the same time. He likes to travel to play in pro events.

He is also my son. He will be on the Cue It Up Network podcast today at noon central time. That was his plan yesterday anyways.

It's a two hr drive there for me, and I'm home till next Tuesday. Would love to take a ride over there to watch a few matches, but we haven't been able to find someone to let our dog out. Tomorrow is a rain day here, so would be a great day for a ride. Wife loves pool as much as I do, so she's not about to stay home for the dog and let me go by myself.

Hey, hey, hey....don't blame this on your wife...she loves the game as much as you do (that's what you said). Send her there and you watch the dog. You just need a better understanding of selecting a 'pool playing wife'.

Yes Kash plays very strong. Sam and Kash are the same age within a month or two. Very excited to see these 2 play often in the future.
