As an American, we've still got quite a few dogs in this fight to the finish. The Filipinos are fully represented here in Round 4, and the unknown-to-me European champions are giving it their all. However, I am looking at our American players, and they've definitely got a shot at winning.

Earl Strickland, love him or hate him, is a shining Pearl here in Vegas. He's a favorite to win. The closer he gets to the finish line, the better he plays. I'd love to see Earl get there.
Shawn Putnam prepared for this event, and it shows. He's playing great pool, and I'm hoping he'll keep it going.
How about that Dee Adkins. He had a tragic accident a year ago and broke his arm. His life was threatened when a blood clot was formed. Though it hasn't healed 100 percent, he decided to not let anything stand in his way. Looking at this Ohio native maintain his winning ways sure does warm my heart.
I'm going downstairs and will spread some good positive vibes for the American players.
