I am American and grew up in the USA and learned pool in the USA, but I have traveled all over the world and played pool in many places. I have lived in the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Turkey, Hawaii, along with several other states in the mainland and I have been through or visited quite a few other countries.
Having done all that, I seem to have become "country-neutral" when it comes to pool. I say, "LET THE BEST PLAYER WIN!". For the "purity of the sport" (sounds like something Earl would say), "the person MOST DESERVING to win is the person who played the BEST!".
I root for everybody to win. Whether they do or not, is up to THEM!
I like to see people come out and "dominate" the table...no matter where they are from.
