USBA Three Cushion Room Hunt

The USBA is on the prowl... to find all the rooms in the United States that are still open and still have three cushion billiard tables. An old list that was originally compiled in 2006-2007 has long gone stale,.,,

AZ Forum members... we need your help!

Our "Where to Play" feature on the USBA web site can be searched by room name, city or state... we have 75 rooms listed of which really only maybe 68 are confirmed open with tables available to the public. There are some private clubs included as well, such as the Elks Lodge locations in the Northwest. Click here to try a search!

Now... here is where you all can help... if any of you know of a room that is not listed, or is listed but has closed!... or has different tables than what is listed... please post a reply to this thread and I will update the site. Keeping the Where To Play resource up to date will help all lovers of the game find a place to play whether at home or when travelling. Closed rooms will remain in the listing but will be clearly marked so someone searching can see the real status.

If any forum members have a table at home... and are willing to be contacted by travelling players... I can include your contact information and list you as a private residence. Send me a PM if you want to be listed and I will craft your private listing to your specification.

Thanks to everyone who loves the game and can help keep this information accurate for all players. Looking forward to discovering some new rooms... or re-discovering some old ones!

So far... One member has sent me a PM to be listed as a private residence... Contact to be arranged by email...

For anyone considering listing their home table, email-only contact is a good option... Hope to see a few more!

Still looking for any info on rooms with 3C tables not presently in the USBA "where to play" directory...

Well... been some time since I posted this...

Two members offered up their personal tables (Stan Lombardo and Paul Fraenkel)

And one member sent a message to our Secretary that a room he visited had one table... not two...

Anyone else.... anywhere???

Have not played a game of 3C in many many years since the room where I live that had one closed, but I have been told this past sprng that The Sportsmans club in Columbus Ohio on Sullivant Ave has 2 carom tables if anyone can confirm for sure, as I have not played there. I checked online and saw a review of the place that mentioned two billiard tables.

Not sure if you heard or not. Chris's in Chicago has new owners and are adding two new carom tables so they will have either 7 or 9 tables in the very near future. They just recovered 16 of the 40 pool tables and have lots of plans for renovating the old club. Believe me it needs it!!

Brickyard Billiards

In Indianapolis. Last time I was there, they had two tables.

Booches Billiard Hall in Colombia, Missouri has a beautiful, very well maintained Brunswick Arcade carom table (in addition to five other Arcades (two snooker and three pool).

Unfortunately we are loosing one table at The Blue Note Lounge in Marshalltown, IA, so please change from 2 to 1. By the end of the month, though, there will be another room opening that will have one. Thanks, JJ

That's really not good news at Blue Note. Went up there about Jan or Feb adding 50 miles to my trip just to hit some balls. Happened to be Darts League Night. Hard to make the drive on a whim like it used to be.

Good luck to Jake. BTW he needs 2 tables. Of course you know that already.
Put me on the waiting list.
