used Ebony Varney j/b

Handcrafted quality!

I just took this cue in on trade from my buddy...he picked up a super nice new one. Anyway...its an ebony Dufferin conversion. I had posted pics of it a while back & it drew a lot of interest. I'll even refresh the cue with new Iv4 ferrule & canvas resin tip. This cue also features a "petrified" shaft. It was brought up from the bottom of lake superior & is 100's of years old. This wood is very dense & stiff. An excellent j/b for someone. I believe too that there are to be no more ebony Duffs either. The cue is in good but used condition. I'll take the highest bid...please bid here...my pm box is crazy.;)

Might be a stupid question but do you have anymore "petrified" shaft blanks left? Might have to have ya make my shaft outa that instead.

Just wanted to say thanks to KV and let all know what a great guy he's to deal with. He meet me for breakfast and delivered the cue as promised. The cue looks like a totally new one. I have admired this cue in local tournments for a couple of years and now its mine all mine. Most of his j/b's are not this fancy. This one has lots of purpleheart and ringblocks in the joint and butt. If you can't tell, I'm very happy. he even bought breakfast. Thank you again Kevin. This makes like the 4th cue I've bought from him. Only Varney's for me!:)

Hey kevin-
I have to admit, most of my interactions with you on this forum have been less than pleasant. in the past I have found you to be an aggressive, hostile, arrogant, shameless self-promoter.

But I must say that after reasing this post, you are quickly becoming one of my favorites simply for your use of the word 'super' as an adverb. No joke. Both myself and a small group of cohorts from work are taking it upon ourselves to put new life into the word 'super' and make it a household expression all over again! Thanks for doing your part!

Take it easy!
