FYI, I just posted a new video that discusses and demonstrates the “hold the line” principle, useful for predicting CB direction off rail cut shots, where the OB is about a ball off the rail. This principle helps you know what is possible when planning position-play routes. Check it out:

Probably the closest thing I have to what you are looking for is at the rail dribble or ball stall link. Concerning avoiding a double kiss, I have videos dealing with that here: double kiss detection and avoidance.

I was looking more for the forced follow frozen ball shots where the cb backs up a bit giving the ob a chance to clear b4 the cb takes off down or uptable hugging the rail.
You can make what are thought to be impossible cross sides with this stroke.
Extreme holds, etc... I'm preaching to the choir here, but would love to see you let loose in a video like this.

Gotta give you props Dave. That shot for me is tough, and your videos make the shot look like a gimme, just hit here to put the CB where you want it.

I look much sportier when I can edit out all the misses. 🤓
