Using an OB1 on a Predator P2 butt

I just shot with an OB1 for the first time the other night and loved it, seemed like a much stiffer hit than my 314-2, and was able to control the amount of spin I put on the ball much better, but I was curious if there would be any reason not to put on OB1 on a Predator P2 butt? Would it be any better or worse than using the OB1 on a custom cue or any other cue for example. Also would it make a difference using the 314-2 on another cue or would it be most benefited from mating it with a Predator butt?
 
The two technologies actually negate eachother and the cue ends up playing like a Meucci, or it explodes. I dunno, whatever you do, take the blue pill.
 
I know of several people who use the OB shaft on their P2 butts. None of them have any issues and really like it.

Royce is sending me their new 'OB Classic' to try, and I'm thinking I may end up getting one made for my P2 if it's as good as I think it's going to be.

My wife, who already has an OB-1 on her P2, is wanting a OB-2 for it. Going to have to see if I can swing that for her B-Day or something.

Anyway.. I think you'll love it.

I've used an OB-1 for several years now on a Predator butt. I also tried the OB-2 for a period of months, and am now trying the new OB Classic on the same butt. Nothing has exploded.....yet. I like it.

i've seen it done before. i can't imagine why it'd be a bad idea
 
I use an OB2 on my P2 butt and love it!! I like the hit so much better than when I had the 314-2.

Like the others, I've seen several people do this. I want to move to a OB from my predator too.... but I think I'll buy a new butt first and then sell off my predator stuff.
 
Played like that for couple of years OB1 and P2. I find the joint very alive on those cues and a little butt heavy. Nice hit all in all.
