Using the Azforum on your cell phone...

hello i just recently got a new cell phone through Verizon wireless..its called the V, its pretty cool.. its like a regular phone and it flips open to reveal an inner screen with a full keyboard.. anyways.. it seems somewhat easy to use the net.. but when i use a forum like this one, it seems everything is way to big and doesnt display right..

anybody have any familiarity with this? and tips and tricks?
i tried to disable the avatars and such but it still messes up alot of stuff.. if only i can change the resolution it is displayed at..

also.. the web sites that are WAP (whatever that stands for) i know it has something to do with being setup to navigate with a cell phone.. they show up on the phone pretty good..

if anybody knows anything about this.. please post it..

WAP stands for Wireless Application Protocol. Your phone uses what's known as a "micro browser". Contact your verizon store for more information about using non-WAP sites.

I have a Treo 650 and I notice that if I don't wait for the page to load all the way, it displays funny. Like each green bar will have the 'you will be famous' written 6 times or however many greenies someone has, and it does it for everyone's. It must be a placeholder. But once the page is done loading, then it displays great, frames, pics and all.

If it is a Treo then there will be a setting on the top of the page for "optimize, or full" (I think that's what they are)

Not all cellphones with mobile internet work the same. My Treo650 isn't going to display exactly like your V, unless it has the same screen size, and browser.
Best answer is to do some research on your phone and it's browser. Go on Google.com and search for something like "V cellphone internet how to" or whatever keywords you feel are relevant.
