USPS-DO YOU THINK MY PACKAGE IS GONE FOR GOOD?

I know, I know, way to early to have major concerns but I've probably had over 100 cues shipped to me and never once has there been no tracking update like this before. I've also bought 7 other cues during this pandemic and no issues from USPS like this before.

I shipped 2 shafts to different people and a cue to another person on the same day. The cue arrive on schedule, the other 2 disappeared in the system. One was delivered 3 weeks late with out any tracking info. The other shaft was so late that ebay refunded to money to the buyer. Shorty after that he received the shaft. Luckily he was honest and sent me the money. I stopped using the PO and now only use UPS. They may be a a little more but it’s worth it.
 
Every time one of these threads appears I recommend using registered mail and people ignore it and apparently prefer the excitement of wondering whether the cue will be delivered and what condition it will be in if it is delivered.

If one cue gets lost or smashed it will cost more than the extra price of using registered mail for 50 cues.
