USPS help needed. Package from GB

I bought a case from a really nice guy on here that lives in Great Britain. The package made it to Miami and cleared customs the morning of May 16th. For some reason, nothing has happened since then and when I talked to USPS this morning, they told me that they have no idea where the package is after clearing customs and they can't even look into finding it for me.

She said something about the only way that the USPS can look into it is if the person that sent the package contacts the postal service in GB and asks them to put in some kind of inquiry.

Any help would be appreciated from those with experience :thumbup:

I think the person that sent the package has to be the one to make the inquiry about it.

It will show up, but not near the time you think it should. There is a definite hole in the system as far as getting out of customs and actually at your post office station. Who knows where all this stuff sits around collecting dust for 2 or 3 weeks.

Have your shipper generate the inquiry

Yup it's annoying. But there was a Tascarella here that was "missing" , same basic story as your's. It showed up after 3-5 weeks (I can't remember the exact time frame). My guess is that your package will eventually show up. Goodluck buddy

That was my Tascarella from Kam, and yes it showed up so late that in the interim Kam refunded my money. USPS could not account for the time out in la-la land from customs to my doorstep. F**kin gov't entity idiots is all I can say

Guess why this ALWAYS happens when something goes thru customs......because just because they tell you it cleared customs doesnt mean they have released it to the postal service,they sit on it for 2-3 weeks until they get around to shipping it out,its always the same story so BLAME F%&K'N CUSTOMS.
