USPS problems with shipping.

What does the above statement mean to you????

For what it's worth I have only had one problem with USPS and it was on the receiving end of a package they lost. They eventually found it and delivered it.

Bruce United Parcel Service (brown truck people for you) is abbreviated UPS, the United States Postal Service (the white, blue, red trucks that deliver to your mail box or U.S. Mail for you) is USPS.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Well in my life-time I had one claim with the Red, White, and Blue, (US MAIL) they handled it FAST, there was a guy in the local post Office who I could talk to, (claims clerk), it was a NO BS EXPERENCE.

Everybody contracts there work out now

Dont feel bad my pool brother.I work at the Postal Service and each morning Fedex,UPS,and DHL back up to our loading dock and drop off packages for us to deliver and I sometimes have to go run to the bathroom and check the mirror to make sure I am at the right place of work :grin-square:

As you work for the Post Office who do you trust, Mail, UPS, DHL, or FedX. Who would you rather file a claim with? For LESS BS?

Let them call the cops!

If you didn't do anything wrong and don't use curse words nor jump over the counter you're okay.

When the cops come just tell them. "This is B.S. Officers! They lost a $5,000 package and i've spent my time and MONEY On insurance, and for the last 2 weeks they've given me the run around. I have the PROOF right here ! Then you hand the officer the Receipt and Insurance slip. "

Tell the police, I am mad because I've been here 5 times and this is B.S.

I am not condoning violence or cursing, just make a big sceen and the customers in line will act as your back up. Because many people in the line have probably dealt with the same B.S.

Use your environment and people as a leverage. If you tell it like it is and it's the truth.....then how can they argue?

That's always my philosophy. You can be nice and civil but when you're getting screwed, you better at least fight it rather than bending over and have them Train you.~

=)

Example:

"I called T-Mobile today because they charged me $20 on each phone time 4 because the stupid customer service person made a mistake." They had "suspended" all 4 family phones..because the payment was "late." Now they charged me $80 to turn them on.

Oh man, I called them and said "What is this $80 charge on my bill for "One Time Restore Activation!!!" You charge me an Activation charge when I opened the line. I pay bills using your stupid "easy" pay, and guess what, it's ****ing Difficult!! I paid you via check, and Via credit card as well as signed up for the "easy pay" method! Now I get a letter saying that you didn't get my mail in time, but that's bullshit, It's postmarked prior to the due date!!!!

And guess, what, T-mobile Subtracted $80 off my account right away.~ Duce don't like B.S. and Duce is one hell of a B.S.er....so hehehe...Phone company Zero, Duce = +2

I really cant answer that .I have never had a problem and I have used all 3 shippers in years past. There are horror story's on az about all of them. Some of them dont even cover collectable items and it says so on the back of there shipping bill so, that being the case I would rather take my chances with a company that doesnt have fine print saying what I am shipping isnt even covered for more than 500 bucks but yet they let me pay for 2000 buck or more coverage:eek: I have over 500 houses on my route and been on it for 10 years and never have had a customer lose a package. You would think by reading these threads that the lose ratio is 1 out of ever 50 cues but in 24 years,3 offices,2 states I have seen maybe 10 customers say they never recieved there package out of probaly millions of packages in these offices. I would say for the money the usps is way cheaper but you get what you pay for...if you need better tracking or faster service guarentees than fedex might fit your needs better.Ben Franklin started the usps and I dont think he had any idea it would be trying to meet the needs of over 300 million people. Private company's have a huge advantage responding to current market condition such as fuel surcharges but the p.o. has to apply for rate increases and the process can take a year and by then the conditions have changed again. The postal service only has the private express statues to protect its intrest and provide universal service for everyone and other countries have done away with there postal sevices so which way do you think ours is going???

Duce.....
Just a little something for you to think about. The USPS is Federal Property, they will call the police if they feel you are threating or causing a disturbance and the only thing the local cops will do(they have no jurisdiction on federal property) is hold you there until the Postal Inspection Service shows up which could be hours. They will be the ones to decide if you need to be taken into federal custody and go before a judge(have seen this happen). So feel free to cause a scene and disrupt the place:D . Here's one for ya...About 2 months ago a clerk went out to empty those blue boxes and found a loaded 45 cal. in the bucket..They call the cops and they show up and check it out and start to leave with the gun when the postmaster comes out of his office and says wait a minute, the postal inspection service says to just hold it there and there coming down to pick it up.The local cop says WTF and calls in and they tell him to just grab a donut and wait, the feds have jurisdiction.

What does this have to do with dealing and raising your voice at the USPS workers.

There shouldn't be a threat if 1. you don't curse, 2. you don't exert physical threats, 3. you don't have a gun.

Pretty much, what you're doing is b****ing at the clerk so that everyone can hear it. The cops will ask the other people in line ..."What happen here?"

The people in line will say "Oh, Duce was angry and the postal office lost his $5,000 dollar package, he has the reciepts and insurance and it seems that he's not getting any answers."

That's the main idea. I've done this many times at other venues and no cops were called yet. If you have proof and it's your turn in line, you should get service.

Duce will make it hell until Justification is done. And most of the time, people will just do it just to get me to leave. That's the point.

Just say to the other people standing in line, "hey, this clerk is refusing to help me and he's making you wait." I have insurance and receipt right here, and THEY LOST my package! They are not honoring their claims..Now I want satisfaction. I mean if I buy Car insurance and get into an accident, the Insurance company better pay me! USPS should do the same, I paid for that shit!"

Do you guys in line think that this is fair??

This is a Federal Government establishment that works upon laws! So you're gonna call the cops on me? You don't even follow the rules and I am the bad guy?

Bought Insurance, You lost the package, Show me the Proof and $$$ biatch!

Take them to court.

Take the USPS to court. I've seen it done.

Save all your paper work. And then you'll get an answer.

If it's under $5,000 you can take it to small claims court depending on the State.

In addition, make them pay for court fees too.

That's what you gotta do.

I"m dealing with a insurance claim with the USPS at this time. The cue was used and when i received it the box it came in was or had been wet. The cue was warped. I have been waiting over a month and all i have gotten is its under investigation.

Thanks For the input so far guys

Thanks for the input so far guys .
I do believe calmer heads will prevail.Plus I like the employees at my USPO they take good care of my inbound items.
I have a friend on here who is drafting up my next appeal letter for me.
Then it's off to Washington DC. for round Three.

Im having issues right now with usps. I sent out a priority mail to Wisconsin. I live in Illinois and sent out the package on 9-13-08. They gave me little info yet. They wont give me the phone numbers of the postal services they send the mail to telling me I would be wasting my time to just be patient. I feel the worst to the guy who bought my cue. Hopefully it gets there by this weekend or I will refund him and go after the postal service. I did get both delivery confirmation and insurance. I hope it doesnt get into the insurance mess, sounds like a mess. I will no better next time to go priority. Deacon

i bought a cue from another az customer he sent it on sept 10 i have still not got it nor does the post office have any idea about it or where it is i have a confirmation and insurance number that shows it was accepted at the post office on the sept 10 i called and the lady told me we dont scan stuff when its leaves the office im like ok shes like just give it time i said its priority and its already 11 days they take 3-5 wheres my cue she said well you cant do anything for 20 days are they kidding you pay extra and they make like its are fault
