V.I.P Tickets vs. Regualar Tickets

Was going to scoot over to watch the Delta Classic in Tunica in February and was trying to decide on tickets.....Other than the 50 dollar difference in the price, what is the difference in the tickets? I guess I'm wanting to ask are the VIP tickets worth it? Mike

The VIP tickets are basically the tables that are right up against the tables. The regular tickets are in the bleaches. If it were me I would purchase the VIP tickets to get as close to the matches as possible.

Lisa:D :p

I've attended only one professional pool match and that was here in Denver. I sat in VIP seats at the floor level, next to the tables. I might prefer sitting in the bleachers next time to get a better birdseye view of the pool table - from an elevated perspective. Sitting up there would seem to afford a better perspective of how the balls actually sit. Can't say for sure, however.

As much as I enjoy Gremlin's photo (I don't recognize her. Who is she?), I have to agree with Kokopuffs. I don't think "VIP" seats are worth the extra money. At the US Open, even when front row seats were available, I chose to sit a little higher up to get a better view of the action.

Gremlin?

Gremlin, when you can shoot the photos? Practice and warm-ups? After seeing Lisa's photo, I'm going VIP....See ya there. By the way, do they have tables for the public to play on? Mike

Gremlin,

I agree. VIP all the way. You get a chair with a back on it and a table upon which to place your food or drink. Or at least that's the way it's set up at Valley Forge.

Got any pics of Megan Smith-Minerich? :D

I have done both and prefer the VIP seating. If you plan to really see alot of matches over many days, you will want the most "kiester-friendly" seating that you can get. (Sam's Town does have comfortable general seating, though, compared to the other places I've been).

The other thing is that you can feel good about supporting the tour. They need it. Unless you can travel as much as Gremlin, you probably can only get to a couple of events a year, at best. I will pinch my pennies elsewhere the other 50 weeks a year and be tableside in Tunica and Peoria.

Gremlin, I'll see you and Charlie there...don't know if I'll get there on the 25 or 26th....but count me in......I'm planning on taking plenty of pics.....AZ can have copies if they need them.....I'll give you my cell number before I leave.....mike
