All right I gotta ask a dumb question... How do you seal up the vacuum between the table and workpiece. Granted it has to be at least 3x12.

Rocket, you would use a rubber gasket and install it around the perimeter of the area you would like to use. I believe you can get the gasket in different lengths. You can see one in the picture, the black square.

Yes sir. I have a table with a gasket. I was looking at Lee's and was going WTF. Didn't pay attention to the black line looked like paint...
 
we will supply gsaket and also have a vacuum pump on the way to test
