Anyway without adding on aftermarket rails to get the table tighter?

Not exactly sure.....
I'm not a table mechanic; however, I've got 4 Dynamo 4x8 Bar Box tables that we've replaced rails, etc over the past few years :smile:
My feeling is that if you replace the wood and rubber on the rails you have a good opportunity to increase the length of the rails (slightly) and adjust the cut (angle) of your pockets!?!
Probably need a PRO here to give us a better prognosis :wink:

The best way i have found, is to make the slate shelf deeper. Phenolic and bondo. It is a lot of work, but you are not changing any of the playing field and not adding another facing.
Could also try a thicker neoprene facing.
