Valley forge 14.1 EVENT A MUST FOR ALL!!!

I played in the 14.1 event at valley forge last year and had alot of fun.I think everyone that goes to Valley Forge should participate and Ill tell you why.Even if you dont play straight pool or never have its a very inexpensive way to have fun and also see another side of pool besides the usual stripes and solids or 9 ball.
Most people after they try 14.1 just a couple of times they will play it all the time as it is the only game that will tune you up for all games and a fairly easy game to set goals at.Simple question would be whats your goal at 8 ball or 9 ball, see you probably dont have one so come on by the 14.1 event and give it a try and if anyone has any questions or needs advice the worlds best 14.1 players will be around to offer their knowledge and good luck to all.

what is the 14.1 event? i don't see it on the roster on the website.

It's an independant event organized and run by a few people on this forum.

Danny and I did our first practice session for this yesterday on a tight Brunswick. I put up a 112, which I was fairly happy with since yesterday was literally the first time I had picked up a cue in a week.

Through his first three innings, Danny had about a 25. After his fifth inning, he had a 187 lol, thanks to a 120 in his fourth inning. Tough table too.

Getting excited to get there on Friday!

yes please someone explain this event! For all the threads on it not one seems to say what it is or how much it costs. Do you pay per rack attempt? How much is it? I would love to give it a go this weekend

DG. The cost is $25 for 5 innings. You get ball in hand on your break shot and u shoot until u miss.. then we add up the ammount of all 5 innings to determine the score. Top 8 go into a tournament Sunday. We are also goin to have a prize for the top 1 or 2 amateur players come to the booth and we can explain it better if you are still unclear. We will also be raffling off lots of great stuff!
