Hi folks,

Anyone got information on the outcome of the VF8B? Lost to Brett Stottlemyer Saturday. Hope he won. Took a leasurely ride home (5 hours).

Thanks for the heads up. Shane beat Bucky first round. Way too many people thought he'd never win the event. Must have been lucky. Yah sure!

Shane is a very very good player out of Erie, Pa. For anyone who has seem him play, it is not a surprise to have seen him win.
 
Bucky was playing?

I was under the impression if you won one of Allen's events, you were not allowed to play in his amatuer events. Bucky did win in March, didn't he?

There were lots of previous winners playing the 8 ball. Because of the relatively small turnout, Allen would probably have let them play regardless.

The Philadelphia area APA championships gave grown so large, our event was restricted to sixteen tables in the area under the stairs. Don't know what they have done if 256 actually showed up! Ce Ci did an excellent job of making things happen. As usual!

Dont feel bad about losing to Brett stottlemyer! Hes a monster playeramd has quite a few of his own small pro events.
