Valleys, Ridgeback, and 3M10

I want to make our Valleys/Dynamos play as well as possible. Replacing the rails with Ridgebacks is easy but my limited experience tells me that the tight stretch you can get using 3M10 winds up making for a lousy finish in the pockets. Is there a way around this or do I not know what I'm talking about? Honest opinions??

Using 3M to glue the Simonis on bar table slate is real easy. The cut outs for the pockets are so shallow you hardly have to leave any slack in the cloth. The cloth just wraps around it. Now I have done quite a few of these, so I can say its easy, but if you have never done any Simonis gluing than there is a learning curve.

New bar table rails

Just my opinion but if you are going to spend the money on new ridgeback rails and Simonis, spend $20 more and also replace all of the worn out rail bolts with new ones. I change the bolts when I change the rails so both sets of hardware are brand new, not just new rails with old junk rail bolts with stretched threads!!!It really sucks to have new virgin inserts and have them bind up or strip because of old rail bolts!!!

Good Luck
