Don't have anything to sell here but I thought you guys would know best...

I see the first blue book sells into the three figures on some websites. Am I reading that right or is it some special edition being sold? Just wondering because I bought a new copy from a store for $40 last year.

Thanks.

Soft cover has been going for $100+ for quite some time....

It's a matter of them being out of print.

Thanks Roscoe. I figured it was but was puzzled that I found one new for $40 last year at a billiards supply store. Didn't seem out of print at all.

how about someone posting the cover photos,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ive been told ive got a cue on the cover of the first edition

You were lucky...

Finding a 1st edition BBC in new condition at a billiard retail outlet is just being lucky. Obviously the owners of the store are either clueless about how the out of print status on the 1st edition has gone up in value or they just don't care. So consider yourself lucky at getting that edition for $40. Because most book dealers and others that would have copies for sale will sell them in the 100-150 dollar ballpark. And that's without them being autographed by Brad Simpson.

I consider myself lucky to have all 3 editions of the BBC and to have each of them autographed. And NO, they are not for sale. :)

Lucky indeed! Apparently I was as clueless as they were. I had no idea the thing was worth something. Oh well, I'll shut up now since I'm sure some are envious.
