Value of "daddy warbucks" balabushka ?

any pictures of this thing?

also if all you say it true it is obvious to any one with some basic knowledge that this thing is very far up there price. as to an exact value, there really is know way to say for certain until you go to sell it.

It sounds to be a truely interesting piece of pool history.

best,

Justin

This cue couldn't be in better hands , the guy loves the cue and it's history and as long as I have known of, plays with it nearly every day.

Bill, were you aware that Gary Spaeth also owned this cue. Hubert gave it to him when he beat Billy I while Gary was in his mid teens. I think Gary sold it to Billy Gibbs. If you don't mind, please PM me and let me know who currently owns the cue. I'm not going to try to buy it or anything, but being as it's probably someone I know, and it has some "Gary history" involved, I'd just like to know.

Are you kidding? There are LOTS of musicians that play with Stradivarius....

A more apt analogy my be some middle school coach hitting batting practice for years with Babe Ruth's bat. But, a piece of history's fate is in the hands of the owner.....so, I see no problem at all. If someone wants to play with something "priceless", and it's theirs, who are we to say they shouldn't? Maybe the enjoyment they get out of using it far outweighs any financial gain they could ever get from it. :o

Well said!
