Value of Meucci cue.

I have a chance to purchase this Meucci-Hubbart Que. I can't seem to find an exact match on line for a value.
The nicks near the ferrule are very minor. I can find no other marks on this stick.
It is as it was rarely used. It has the brass pin joint with small a rubber butt bumper. I believe that is an indication of pre 1980.

The Ferrule is discolored yellow as you can see in the picture.
It comes with a Meucci case. The drawback is only 1 shaft. The shaft it comes with is a "NO DOT" shaft.

Would you know what the value is likely to be?
Is this a rare cue?

Thank you,
Poolblues

That's a Meucci TLC case. You might do better to sell it separately. It is at least as rare as the cue, if not more rare, although the case does look rough and even missing some covering material.

That is indeed an early Meucci judging not only by the bumper but also by the brass pin. They tend to do fairly well on Ebay.

I agree it is an early Meucci. Brass pin and smaller bumper are clues for those wanting some inputs.

I would estimate $200-$250 for the cue, if everything rolls okay, and the shaft is pretty close to 13mm.

I agree to selling the cue and the case seperately. This is true in almost every case, but I find it amazing that several want to sell both at the same time and basically "give" away the case. When I was buying and selling more cues a few years ago, I got a pile of cases at nearly no cost. I would then offer the cases at pretty low prices and people would eat them up.

Best of rolls,

Ken
