If the wireless connection holds up I will do a live update of Shanes match against Luc Salvas. This is gonna be a long day for the guys on the left side of the chart.

They are going to play down to the final 8.

See you in an hour.

Oh yeah, Landon Shuffett is playing Warren Kiamco and is tied 4 to 4 right now. Go Landon !!!

I'll put my money on Shane over Luc, even though I'm a fan of Luc's fast game.

And Landon Shuffett's a little monster, I wanna play that kid one day. He'll be giving Efren the 7 in a few years.

Put the pipe down.

Do you know how many of these kids burn out or find women, or worse? Even if he doesn't burn out, he can plateau. Remember Little Tony Watson? I remember that kid at twelve stringing racks together for $300 a game. Can he give Efren the seven? Even if he doesn't plateau or quit or burn out, who is going to give Efren the seven? I hope you were just being funny, or this one is ridiculous.

I think what he means is that Landon at his young age is competing with the big boys. I can't remember how old Landon is. Is he 12 now or 13? At any rate, he's making his mark in the pool world, and apparently, from what I have read on this forum, he has a good support system in his home camp, which is always a plus.

Some players like Tony Watson are champions, no question about it. Unfortunately for many players of this caliber, there are occupational hazards which crop up from time to time, and without a good support system, it is hard for them to be all that they can be.

Landon is doing everything right. I can't wait to read about him in the times up ahead. IMHO, he will be an American pool champion, and quite frankly, as a child prodigy, he's accomplished more in his young life than most players I know.

As far as giving Efren the 7, who knows? Time will tell! ;)
