I asked about this a while back and I am just curious as I accidentally ran across a note to VAPOOLPLAYER in the confirmed private messages from 2005 on my CP.

Does anyone know him?
And does he currently play pool?
And at what level?

He seemed to be a person who was very determined to succeed at pool and I wondered if he continued, quit or now simply plays it recreationally.

Thanks,
JoeyA

I think JAM knows him. I too was wondering why, after being so active on the board and clearly aggressive in developing his competitive game, he just abruptly quit posting and disappeared.

While we're on the theme of disappearing posters, what happened to Shane Sinnott?

I sometimes think of him too. He was so enthusiastic about pool. He took a couple lessons from my room mate, and then he traveled from Virginia to New York City to get a few lessons from Tony Robles. He also went to Tennessee and got some lessons from Jimmy Reid. He truly wanted to advance his game and played pool 24/7.

He was living in Richmond, VA area, last I heard from him, and I believe he was hanging out with the Richmond pool folk. :p

Now, here is what I think happened, though I may be wrong. He gave his heart to a young lady in Richmond, and he really fell for her. I met her, and she was very pretty, though I thought she was a little flirty, especially when consuming alcohol. :embarrassed2:

The two of them went out a few times. The relationship eventually soured on her end. I think she broke his heart. :frown:

I believe he moved away from Virginia, got a new job, and hung up his pool cue for a spell.

I think he mentioned that his family was blessed with a baby. Family responsibilities has a funny way sometimes of getting folks to change course. What was a top priority before children can quickly become a thing of the past. :grin-square:

WOW! Jennie, I really like your MySpace. Today is the first time I have viewed it. Your wheelaphoto slideshow and filmstrip photo with nice music in background is COOL. Adding in your own brand of story-telling and you have one fine site.
