Some friends of mine from Richmond, where he used to reside, told me that he dropped out of sight. I think there was a girl involved, and you know how affairs of the heart go sometimes with the young'ns!![]()
He was taking pool lessons from Tony Robles in NYC, driving all the way up to the Big Apple from Richmond on a frequent basis. He also visited Jimmy Reid in Tennessee for a little one-on-one lesson.
Like so many American aspiring players, he may have left pool for good. He sure did seem to have a lot of enthusiasm for the sport the whole time I was hanging out with him! I kind of like the kid!![]()

I wonder if he simply quit the forum or quit pool for good. Jennie, if you ever find out what happened to him I would love to know the particulars. We exchanged a couple of PM's shortly before he disappeared from the forum. Most of us who quit pool, always come back to it. Once you have the fever, it can only be temporarily abated.
