In this thread I will be posting an assortment of shots that happened at the North American Open. Right now I have matches of: Johnny Archer vs Ronnie O' Sullivan, Ronnie O' Sullivan vs Quinten Hann, and Mark Tademy vs Oliver Ortmann.

This first diagram is a very clean break and run by Oliver Ortmann. He manages to not bumb anyother balls except the ones he pockets. He makes the score 7-2 in his favor.

Here is the next diagram of Archer running out with ball in hand after Ronnie flew the cueball off of the table on the break.
Diagram 2
This is the final rack where Archer runs out to defeat Ronnie 8-3.
Diagram 3
Ronnie runs out the first rack after Hann comes up dry on the break.

Thanks Tanner for posting the runout. It's a little treat for people like myself who can't see the event.

It's always to say things after they are done. Here are some interesting thing I have found from the layouts:

1, He did this with the mimimum footwalks. He walked around the table 1 lap clockwise.

2, The CB travelled total distance of 22 diamonds long while running 8 balls down, the average travelling path is 2.75 d. the first shot the CB travelled 6 d to the ideal shape zone.

3, He normally position the CB 0.5-1.5 d away from the OB, with a cut angle between 20-35 degrees so he can shoot it comfortably to position for the next shot. (15 ball and 12 ball are the exception)

4, It just happened most of the shots are follow or stun-follow shots. He didn't use a draw shot in the game

I am slowly adding new diagrams to my original post.
Pretty soon I will have the Strickland vs Van den Berg match. That should have some nail-bitting racks.
