Here's a 2009 Varney that was delivered in June and is lightly used, probably about a 1-2 months worth of play time. Looking to trade or sell for $500 obo (losing money on the deal). Ordered cue with the following specs:

Woods: Bocote forearm and buttsleeve, curly maple handle
Butt Weight: 16.00 oz
Shaft 1 (unplayed): 3.80 oz, 12.75 mm
Shaft 2 (lightly played): 4.10 oz, 12.75 mm
Length: 58"

Looking to trade for: Willard Tip Machine with some cash, basic cue repair lathe, a nice 3x5 or 3x6 case, digital SLR camera, or anything else you think would be fair. Below are the pictures taken by Mr. Varney prior to delivering the cue. Thanks for looking!

I really like this pj Varney. My favorite to date. I can see this ring work in brown phenolic and brass rings. Awesome player for sure.

Pretty stick. I really like bocote. And, this cue has some awesome ring work. Good luck.

I have both a Jensen and a Carmeli but would not trade either of them straight across. Still looking for weight of the butt alone.

Thanks,

Dave

Will weigh the butt and shafts once the post office is open again. Don't have a digital scale at home. Will update the original post as soon as I get that done :)

That's a beautiful Varney!!

I just got a couple more from Kevin and couldn't be happier. Both are just perfect.

Best of luck with your sale.

Russ....

Updated original post with both shaft and butt weights. Cue is actually a little heavier than I had ordered, but is well balanced and feels the same as my current playing cue (which is 19.5 oz on the button).

Bumpage - will take $500 obo. Let's see your trade offers
