Everything is ok...relax. To make a long, boring story short...I had to be out of the old place before I closed on the new one. So...everything went into storage mode for a few days. Completely moved into the new shop right now...just have to unpack & set up everything. Geez...you have no idea exactly how much stuff you have ...until you have to move it all. And I just moved my home too...2 moves, back to back...I'm beat!!!
Give me a day or two to get organized and I'll get some AZ time & reply to the pm's & give out my new email. Everyones cues are fine and the completed ones will be arriving shortly. I truly apologize for the delay, I was afraid it might be longer. Good news is Varney Custom Cues has left downtown Charlotte and relocated to about a block away from Allison. I laughed my azz off at her when I played on her table...very nice IPT carpet you are practicing on there Allie.
I look forward to providing many years of exceptional service from the new shop. I'd also like to give a big thank you to all my customers for their support. And an equally, if not bigger thank you to all my friends who pitched in and carried extremely heavy stuff for days. A couple are fellow AZers. Thank you gentlemen.
Leonard...do you want your pinholes bored to accept the shoulder of the G10? .385 & 1.0 deep. Your pin will not fit if I don't.

i too know what it feels like to move..i drove from Troy ohio on wed afternnon..a 9 1/2 hour drive got back to my appartment at 10:30pm and had to start loading up the uhaul..did that till 3am and just crashed..then got back up at 7:30 and finished loading only to drive 15 min accross town to unload in to the new place..thank god my old apartment had an elevator and my new place was on the ground floor..and yes you dont realize how much shit you have untill it time to move..normally all those things are considered "stuff" before you move but toward the end you just ask yourself..why in the hell do i have all this shi*t and just start thowing it into boxes...only to spend the next 4 days looking for it at the new place..ha ha ha ha..

Glad to hear you're settling in to the new shop, Mr. Varney. I haven't moved lately but did it about 7 times so far, no fun. I hope you get everything up and running smoothly.

No i guess the move in is taking longer than he exspected.. i have sent some pm but have not gotten any answers ....I think evey one is being with patient with Kevin...He reputation speaks for him..so eveyone is just waiting patiently for him to come back on the forum or ship out cues...sorry i dont have any new contact info for you

I have emailed him..and i know that once he gets things in order he will get back to me, just thought maybe someone on here knew. Has anyone heard from Kevin... I was going to the Carolina Open and was hoping to meet him there if he came...but i didnt go and no one i knew went...was Kevin there selling some of his awsome cues??

OK...I'm back. Moving a shop is not one of my most favorite things. No matter how extremely careful you are...you WILL break something. And setting everything up...trying to find everthing again & put in it the correct spot...yikes. Then I indeed did have to be out of town for a while due to family. So bottom line...TODAY...I'm finally back to normal & working 100%.
