Hey gang,

I recently got this Purpleheart Varney SP from Jensen_Lover in a trade. It weighs right around 18oz, it's straight and the grain in the shaft is nice and long and straight. The cues hits nice but I just can't play with it as it's a bit too light for me.
Cue had been TRADED!!!. I would like cash for this but I may consider a trade for a case or another cue.

How does it feel compared to a glossy finish.
Does it feel sweaty after a while? Get dirty faster? Leaves marks over time from use?

I'm not sure as I've only owned it for a short time and haven't played with it all that much.

It does seem like it would be durable and I tend to sweat alot when I play and it didn't seem to feel any different than a glossy finish.

Bump for price reduction. $220 shipped including fees!!!

Come on gang, no better deal on a Varney sneaky.

Just a quick update.....

I will be adding some weight to this cue in the next day or two as I think that may be one of the reasons why it hasn't sold.

I won't personally be doing the work. It will be going to a local cue maker to have the work done. It will be done by drilling and tapping the butt and adding 3/8x16 set screws to get it to the desired weight. I'm thinking around 19.5 oz should be good. I don't think the balance will be affected too much as it is a little too far forward now IMO at 19.75" from the buttplate.

I believe this is probably the bet way to add the weight. I know this is how my Blackcreek was done.

If anyone is interested I can adjust the weight to whatever you like.

Thanks,
'Mash
