Vegas TAP vs APA

3 years ago I played on an APA team that went to Vegas.Yesterday my TAP team won a trip to Vegas. Can anyone tell me how the two leagues differ.

I thought the Vegas tournament was run very well. Considering all the people who were there everything seemed to run smoothly.

Do they have mini tournaments?
 
Please let's not turn this into a league bashing. I would just like some input into how the two experiences differ.
 
I have been to both and there is no comparison. Although I like TAP much better as a league, their national event is no where near the size as APA. TAP is at Ballys which is better than APA which is at the Riviera. TAP has about 40 tables, APA has about 200.

To go a little off topic. Does anyone know what Vendors and Cue Makers are usually at the APA Vegas Event?
