Vegas, where are the deals?

Well I was going to keep this secret because I don't like it when it gets too crowded. But if you would rather have menu dinners rather than buffets the place to go is The Outback Steakhouse. For the price it is tremendous. I can only speak of what I have every time I go and thats the double lobster tail dinner. Two decent size tails, potato, salad and hot bread. $21 bucks.
I pay 40 to 50 for that dinner at home. It is located in Las Vegas Blvd. right next door to Harrahs. You can take the monorail which now runs the length of the strip and get off at Harrahs station, walk to front of club to Las Vegas Blvd. turn right and it is right there upstairs.
I was impressed with that price in Florida when I was there but vegas for a buck or so more really impressed me and that food was great.
Hope to see ya there. Will be there at least twice in 5 days.

Well let's see.... 2 lobster tails ...$21.00

at the Rio Seafood Buffett I had a buddy (OK so he was a bit gluttonous) who ate over 2 dozen lobster tails! And these were no midgets either....

he was sorry for a few days after that......

let's see again .... 24 lobster tails .... $21.95 ....

pretty tough to beat!

Well I know about those and though they are great, as is the Bellagiio reputed to be the best but for 28 bucks but I guess you did not really read my post, this deal is for people who want to be waited on, and order from a menu and made the way you want it. The extent of what I can eat, being diabetic is limited so that deal is useless to me. I do not like buffets as a lot of people I imagine do not.

100 yards off the strip and and only a few blocks from the Riviera is the Villa Roma. It is a typical older style motel kinda like Motel Six. Last time I was there rooms were $40 weekdays and $50 weekends. Probably a little higher now. Not the Ritz but no Casino to walk through to get to your room. Right behind Silver City Casino.

We always drove to Vegas for the Trade shows and could park right in front of our room which was nice for us.

I stayed at the Somerset a few years back. It is located very close to the Stardust. It is somewhere in between the Hilton and the Stardust right across the Mariott. It was only $39 a day and then $49 or so on the weekends.(but it was like three years ago). Free movie (they have a time table with various movies that they play off a set of video tapes they had in stock) and a little kitchen with a fridge, and a microwave and some knife, forks, kettle, plates..etc. It was also very clean and big and is located quite close to a supermarket and some restaurants. There was a Greek resturant right across the street. You can walk to the Rivera from there. I am not sure if that place is still around though. I have not been there for a few years. I was very pleasantly suprised at the value I received while I was there.

You can consider buying your food and drink from the supermarket, store them in your fridge, and cook for yourself if you are on a tight budget.

Hope this helps... :)
