Hi Blud,
I'll be there for the Gabriel's 9 Ball. There is very little known in Vegas about the Gabriel's tournament. I was there last week and none of the local "players" were aware of it. All knew of the APA being in Vegas.
Do you have Allen Hopkins e-mail address? The dates are listed as 8/19 through 8/22. A major tournament ending on Friday? Oh well.
After reading the posts about your cues, I'd like to stop by the booth in Vegas and say hello.
To other interested parties visiting Vegas, if your looking for great "cheap" Italian food, try Carluccios on East Tropicana or the Venetian on West Sahara. For breakfast, the Omelet House on West Charleston. The best buffets are the Bellagio and Paris. Rio is famous for it's seafood buffet.
No action? Visit Red Rock Canyon State Park at the end of West Charleston or, if your willing to drive an hour, Valley of Fire State Park off I - 15 is spectacular!!!
Need action? the Cue Club on West Sahara is the place. If Toby is there, you'll get all you want. Pool Sharks on South Decatur has Vince Tedesco & Trick Sixty. Walter Glass may also be there!
