Velocity Pro Feedback

We had some on our shop table on a Gold Crown 3. It played really well and I couldn't tell the difference between Simonis on a GCIV at a pool hall a few days later. And we've installed it on many tables lately and everyone seems to love it.

We have done a couple pool halls with it but unfortunately the way these pool halls treat their tables you'd be lucky to get 4months out of the cloth if it was made of steel.

I've learned over the last 25 years not to trust most cloth manufactures, as it's my butt on the line for the recoveries I've done, as I'm the one held responsible for the cloth I've installed. I'm a firm believer in the fact that there is NO one cloth fits all, not even with Simonis, which is my number one favorite choice of cloth to install. I understand that cloth manufactures are trying to make a buck, but I've been burned several times in the past, and because of that, I'm more critical of any cloth manufactures out there today...and I'm not interested in name of cloth alone anymore...I'm looking for quality first, but...I do still maintain an open mind to any new cloth...because...who knows what'll come out next.

Well with all the experiance you have and the sheer number of tables you set up in an single year I think that qualifys you to make a judgement weather a cloth is up to your standards (which should be industry standards) or not. Can't wait for your new DVD's Glen!
