Thank you for your complementory words, I am using Autodesk Inventor. In regards to the black on black I was shooting for ebony over dark brown blackwood.
 
This is cool...Is it a easy program or is there some knowledge about graphic rendering that we need to know?

I just did a little looking at the program and it looks to be very powerful but possibly not that cost-effective, at least to use solely as a cue designing software, when you consider the $5k+ price tag!

It is quite user friendly. It didn't take long to learn but it did take a while to figure out how to use it specifically for cue design. The program is aimed at mechanical design so as far as a 3d rendering program there is programs much better than this. I use it because it is available to me through my job.
