Veneer rings

Been playing with veneer rings to compliment billets. Took me five programs but I think I got it. Ended up hogging out the entire middle. Didn't like the rough edge on the inside webbing. I increased the outside webbing to 4 on the large and 3 on the small. The veneer doesn't clamp down tight and the float caused me to lose a top one. 1.75 x 7 stock. 4 veneer deep. The blue is hiding in the middle. I then cut a 12 slot billet .035" thick.

I really need to quit screwin around and build a cue some time. Haven't finished one since 2013.

I stack 4 or 5 sheets and clamp them together then dab 5 min epoxy around the edges to hold them flat, Then I cut them,

Is your laser cutter mounted with the spindle on your set up or do you have to change out the laser and the spndle every time.

I am thinking of getting a laser also.

What kind do you use?
