Very Odd Question

I was watching Lockup on MSNBC and they were interviewing an inmate in the rec room. Their room had a pool table, but I swear it had 8 pockets. 2 additional on the head rail and foot rail. Given the angle it had to be the short rail I was looking at, or this table was only 4 feet long. Has anyone seen anything like this before or am I just getting more senile?

Do you have a link or the name of the episode so others can see what you're talking about?

Anything would be helpful. Thanks.

And I thought the round pool table was weird... Haha... Then again, I'm sure that some people have thought that having pockets were considered weird at one point.

NewStroke...Take your glasses off. I think you're seeing double! J/K! LOL :D Highly doubtful that there were 8 pockets. Even the wierd L-shaped tables only have 6!

God knows what inmates would do with two extra holes.

Be that as it may, maybe the manufacturer only had enough rubber for four full rails, and four leftover scraps.
