I'm just goin by the askin price of my friend. The $500 already includes shipping to the US. A full splice Viatorre with ivory joint collar and ivory hoppe ring is priced well above $400 --- you can check with Jack at the viatorre website. In any case, he will entertain any offer. just PM me or email me at mon_ramos@yahoo.com ;) .

Very nice looking Cue monski.... ;)

Talked with him this am and he wanted to have inlays done on his cue. So it won't be available for sale at the moment. Played around with the pic and the cue might come out this way. He'll take it to someone to have the inlays done. ;)

I'll mention it to him. He had the cue brought to Tony Bautista. He does awesome inlay work. Then I'll post or PM you his response. The cue will have 46 additional inlays. 38 of the 46 inlays will be Ivory. ;)

No offense but isn't ths cue kinda expensive specially since it could've been based on this $59 blank http://www.cuecomponents.com/cuexfuspbl.html

If a famous cuemaker takes a cheaper but well made blank and makes a cue (with exactly the same specs and design as the viatorre) from that blank he can probably charge 2X or 3X the amount than this viatorre. The best thing really is to look into the cue maker and decide if its worth the money. Of course you can also buy a blank and have someone build the cue for even less than $100.

check this out:http://www.viattorre.com/

BTW, cue components is a great place. I know a lot of people who buy from them. ;)

Talked to the guy and he said that he can let it go (with the additional inlays) for $500 net to him. This means the buyer takes care of freight and any bank charge for money transfer etc. He's only worried that the cue will get impounded (there in the US) or something due to the amount of ivory in it. 38 of the 46 additional inlays are ivory (the ivory alone is a great value already). This does not include the ivory hoppe ring and the ivory joint collar. Moori tip if i'm not mistaken.;)

I guess it coulda, but coulda shoulda or woulda. I am having Jackson at Via build me a cue right now and I know of at least 8 other people that have cues on order from him.He is a reputable custom cue maker who turns out great looking player cues, and that cue is a steal at the price that Monski is asking.

I was just informed that the cue will be out in about a week to 10 days time. The owner is having second thoughts about letting it go. However he will honor his word until the cue is out of the shop. Then he will have me take a pic and post it here. If no sale is concluded by then, he will keep the cue and enjoy it for the meantime. Thanks for those who have been expressing interest. ;)

finishing

Just saw the cue. All the inlays have been set except for the ivory diamonds on top of the points. A short rest for the wood and the finishing will soon follow. ;)

All inlays have been set. Hopefully the cue will be finished soon. $500 + shipping. I think we can ship it for $50 from here in the Philippines. Pictures soon to come. ;)
