Video - 2005 World Championship Final - 3 Cushion

Good video

I love to watch that game. I don't even know where there is a table around here. I do wish they would have shown more than one missed shot. I think I learn as much from a missed shot. Of course I am a total neophyte at this game. I'm sure the size of the file would have been a problem also.

WOW a 3 cushion match in 9 minutes. That was great. And what a room that was for the final. Also a large and appreciative group of spectators.

Thanks for the link.

The match was in Lugo, Spain in June of 2005. They were playing a race to three of 15-point sets. Sanchez made 45 points in 13 innings-- 5, 5 and 3 innings. There weren't very many misses. His average in the match was 3.462, while de Bruijn had a respectable 1.364. The site www.kozoom.com has lots of stats on matches. See:

The venue was the main hall of a sports club in the old walled part of Lugo. The best seats were in the balcony that I think you can see in some of the shots. Just out the front door a tent was set up with large video screens for the overflow crowd.
