No need to apologize. It IS cool but unfortunately not real. If you look closely, you'll see none of the balls interact with eachother after the "break". Not a single carom. Each one either goes right in or banks in.

Lol, your right! Now that I look closer.....LOL. Man, I feel incredibly stupid now. So what is the record of how many balls on the break. Ins't it like 6?

Under television pressure, it's a tie between Danny Harriman (on 7-ball) and Alex Pagulayan (under 9-ball) of 6 on the break. Here's "The Lion" Alex Pagulayan on his mostrous blaster of a break (very "not BAD" for a small fella) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKXykcdxJzM .

Yeah, I read it, but thats hardly believable that you made 8 in on the break. I was refering to the pro's where the games are atually recorded. Sorry but I would have to see it, can't just go off of someone's word.

You never mentioned anything about pros. And I'm sure all the people that posted about making 7 on the break now have the same high opinion of you. And why would you find it hard to believe? Just for your info, the record in 9 ball is 9. It's been done at least 3 times that Iv'e heard of.

I believe it (9 balls on break). I've done 6 once, and 5 a few times, and I'm
far from a pro, but have a strong break. I suspect sooner or later it will occur
when being filmed.

I think you're better off sitting at the 161st Street Station and waiting for someone to hit it out of Yankee Stadium. What's more, you might want to consider investing in a comfortable chair.

As pool gets more popular, assuming it does from what I read about things outside the U.S.,
and more matches are getting filmed, and players get better, I can't see why it won't happen
when being recorded. It's already supposedly happened when not being recorded, but again
I'm not holding my breath.

Also, I believe the size of a person does affect the power they can deliver slightly, but not
greatly. I developed a few secrets myself about the break, and in combination with what
I learned from other sources, I was able to develop an extremely powerful break. And this
was while I was only playing 2 or 3 times a week for a few hours. So I can envision all
9 being made sometime in the future on "film", and hopefully I'll be alive to be able to see it. :)

EDIT: When I stated "size", I was referring to muscle, not height. A long swing is powerful.

i like the guy walking by in the blue shirt. he acts like nothing happened. pretty dead give away that it is fake.
 
I've seen 6 go lots of times, I almost saw 8 once 6 were in and 2 balls were rolling towards the corner pocket on the head string end slowly and they knocked each other out right at the mouth of the pocket at the last second, the pockets were big pockets on a 9' GC it was an old table at the Jointed Cue in Sacramento during one of Terry's tournments in the late 80's. I dont remember the player, he was making balls on every break during the match.

I made 5 once. It was pure luck I might have the worst break in the game 8 & 9 Ball, I break good on a 12' snooker table, I just cant get the body into it, and with your arm only there isnt much power
 
I've seen this video many a time, and he actually doesn't hit them that hard. The balls just happen to go in. More luck than a monster break.

What does it mean 9 clips overlapped? How was the video made, exactly? Inquiring minds want to know.
