I don't know if its just me, but i find this runout the HARDEST off all..
been trying now for 2 hours. Did some runouts but always touched a ball.
Even one where i touched the after potting the 8

hard hard, this is a real chalenge for my speed! lucky im stuburn :D
i wont quit untill ive run it God ****

EDIT:

You but this is a hard one. Took me close to 2 hours. I did run it a couple of times, but i always bumped into a ball somewhere. In real match situation , a save behind the 2 on the 1, or bumping the 7 open would be my option, but here its WEI rules:

First shot: Hard in the beginning, after some time i got the hang of it.
1 ball with 1 tip of low (to kill the ball by draging and then let it run naturaly just before it hits the 1) 1.5 tip of outside english (to avoid the kiss on the 2) really slow or you risk to hit the 5 or even snooker behind the 8. not easy to play it slow AND with so much english. You got the judge the swerve INCH right.

2 ball = top of right english (to get angle on the 3) to the midle of the table
3 ball = scratching risk in the midle above the 3, you got to have the angle on the 5 PERFECT or the run is over. I'd prefere to have put a tip more english and get the ball a half diamond higher, but it worked.

5 ball = 1 tip of topspin.
7 ball = i don't know why it was easyer to play position to pocket the 7 in the midle. I tried several times to get the 7 in the top, but then the natural angle on the 5 would have left the cb against the cussion, and i didnt want that. slight draw to avoid ending straight on the 8
8ball = Outside english for the straight in 9

I'd rate this runout difficulty = 9.5 /10 . it was HARD. With bumping alowed i'd say it would be a 7 for me, but not bumping makes it EAVELISH hard. I tried 2 hours before i had it runout. Gratz Wei for making it a harder one :D

That's quite a draw stroke...looks to me like you're running into the 2 with that shot. Going around the 2 is too tough. Either kill it off the rail with inside or hit it soft and shoot another tough cut on the 2.

Try banking the 1. Personally, I play safe on this shot. Multiple pages.

I tried this one last nite on my 9' Pro Am... several times... and it's one tuff motha'.

This is the way that I played it... I slow rolled the one into the corner (pocket speed) and each time that I made the 1, I ran into the 2, causing it to go toward the long rail and the cue ball to go downriver a short distance... but such that I still had a good shot on the 2 into the corner pocket, drawing whitey back to center table... and with leaving myself a good angle on the 3. From there, I drew whitey back close to center table and was left with a good shot on the 5... but after that, I struggled to get a shot on the 7. My run-outs tended to end there.

You have to get damn near perfect on the 5 in order to get by the 8 and get whitey in a position below the 7 in order to make it in the top RH corner pocket. Tuff!!!

Yeah this one is a tough out. If you don't get enough angle on the 5, you could play that 7 into the side. If you get too much angle on the 5 you can zig-zag and get around the 7/9. Both corner pockets are open uptable and you can always use the 9 to hold position for the 8. I'm gonna try this layout tonight. This is all assuming you can make the 1 and get a shot on the 2. Drawing around the 2 requires a super stroke and still no guarantees you won't hit the 2 on the way out. I still think you're supposed to play safe behind the 2 and hope for a better shot next time.

Here's my run...got it on the 3rd try. Still on the 1st or 2nd song of Buckcherry :) Had it on the first, but rattled the dang 9. Rattled the 1 on my 2nd attempt...

Didn't feel like getting dressed up for this like the other guy, probably should have then I coulda went out to my car and get my playing cue. I've got pretty nice bar sticks though...

Missed the 1 the 2nd time. Played a little left to get spun around the 2. Leave a little angle on the 3 to get the 5. Got a little straight on the 5...forcing me to play the 7 in the side. But it is easy enough after you get around the 2 for the most part.

I don't think i have good cb control :p like i said, it took me 2 freaking hours. Easily 100 try's before i got it on tape :p this runout is above my level and i even thought of giving up.

If you got this in 3 tries, then my hat is off to you sir !

Get that hat off...don't wanna mess up yer hair.

Not sure why I'd lie about this? But it seems my statement is being questioned. Maybe it is easier for a left hander? Heck if I know. I know that if missed on my 10th try in a row... I would given up! Too much work to reset all the ball each time!

dfweyer, i'm sorry if my post sounded like it was questioning anything. I was impressed that someone run it so quick , as i thought it to be VERY hard. impressed not disbelieve :p

about putting the balls back: I use those plastic little things you put around holes in paper to protect them from being teared apart. (sorry dont know how you say this in english) I found them in a bookstore for 2$ and they have 300 of them in different colours (lucky they are the colours of the balls of 9ball :D) once i got them down, it takes 15sec to replace the balls exactly.

I say, "Those little plastic things you put around holes in paper to protect them from being torn apart."

Never really had much use for something like that...until now I guess. Better try to find me something to speed up the process.

A Friendly Reminder

Hi,

Thanks for all the video entries, we still have 3 prizes to give away by this Sunday.

This is a great opportunity to test yourself and share the experience with everyone. Go get your digital camera ready!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jMOysgMwls

The first shot was definitely the hardest shot of the rack and it took me a few tries to not hit the 2.
After that the runout was pretty straight forward if you fall right on the 5 to go to the 7. I got a little closer to the 5 then I wanted but had the right angle to go to the 7 so it wasn't much of a problem.
