I have been unable to find footage of Alex Higgins playing 9 ball. Does anyone know of a video on the tube or anywhere else of his Mosconi Cup matches?

That kind of showmanship is why snooker is where it is and why people love Alex and why people love Ronnie. Class stuff drinking a pint of Guiness during the match.:thumbup: If pool had Alex we would be in a better spot today.:(

Sadly I think if Alex was a pool player he would never have become as famous.

The problem is that pool has never had a marketing department to sell it's product, thus no one to market similiar players such as Keith McCready and St. Louie Louie. During each of their boom periods, it seems as the though the industry was content to simply ride out the wave of interest rather than build upon it.

People watch what they are told to watch (in a simplistic way of speaking), and sadly no one is telling them to watch pool.
