I don't know who to credit for this video or where it came from... I'm pretty sure it's safe to share it.

This is a video from several years ago of johnny archer and corey deuel matching up for big bucks (I think 10 or 20k?) in a 9 ball race.

Don't wanna spoil it with too many details but it's fun to watch the power of soft breaks vs hard breaks.

My only goal in posting was to give people something to tide them over until action report DVDs (or that stage6 clip) are ready. There's been a shortage of good free online pool videos lately, so I hope people enjoy watching it.

fair warning: I tried to keep the resolution decent but with my slow upload I had to compress it a lot, even so it's over 700 megs. But it's about 2 hours of footage.

the link works for me. where are they playing at? is that barry boney racking?

Interesting...

Thanks for the post.

Did you notice that both pros were using basic road player type cues? No frills, just plain jane looking. I think Corey was using a Predator P2. Not sure what Archer was playing with. I guess it goes to show... when playing serious pool it does not matter what your cue LOOKS like.

This was at Mr. Cues II in Georgia about 5 years ago. Best 2 out of 3 sets, each set was a race to 20 for 10,000.

Great find, I had to download the divx player, but once I did, it worked good, thanks for the post.

what was the out come?? corey was stringing some racks together with that soft break and johnny was doin the same with the hard break..only thing i wish they would've told the score more..but def some good pool being played:D
