Video quality watching TAR's PPV

Anybody connect their computer to their flat screen using an HDMI connection to watch tar's PPV? I plan on doing that tonite.

If so, how's the video quality of the HD version?

Had my iPad connected to the TV via HDMI and it works great.

Vid quality of the HD version rocks.

TAR's new HD stream is pretty good. In the past I watched their SD stream on a 57" TV and it still looked good, so you should have no issues.

BTW, smoking a great 7 y/o cigar in my garage while hitting balls on my Diamond Pro Am and listening to Eric Clapton and BB King singing Riding with the King.

We have a 32" TV that is only 720p rather than true HD, which is 1080. I stuck with the SD broadcast because I assumed it wouldn't make a difference. Does anybody know if that's true, or will I get a better picture by going to the HD stream?

Only way you might improve all that is by adding a nice Islay single malt.

The TAR stream is also 720p, so yes you would see a big difference between the two.

(Also, 720p is consider HD, but is less resolution than 1080p obviously.)

I long-assumed that Ridin' with the King" was written by Clapton. Come to find out it was written by another one of my favorites, John Hiatt.
