I just got back from China this past Monday. My trip was mainly business, as I was trying to sell distance learning technology to universities and secondary-ed institutions.
A few comments on the video:
1) Students in China are far more disciplined than the U.S. So far, in fact, you can't even find the right words to describe it. Unlike the U.S., Chinese students get one chance to take a college entry examination. Unless they score high, they don't go - end of story. Therefore, the laws described in the video go hand-in-hand with their culture to succeed in academics.
2) Of all the places I've played around the world, I've never seen more GOOD snooker players than China. It seemed like everyone I ran into was putting up high numbers... or if they weren't, they moved you so well you had a hard time putting up a point.
