Watching the Fed Ex Cup/Golf yesterday....ALL the men dressed up, and made THEIR sport look Sharp.

A good look at the AZ Front page of Filler and Shane, is great for the game we all enjoy.

Too help our sport (and the videograher$ business model)....we need the Hanna's of our game to get on board NOW.

In doing so, they are not only helping the game, but they are helping themselves and the product we all enjoy.

Anyone that's gonna be streamed, live or not, Must dress up. Nothing supports the negative views the general public has about our game MORE....than watching someone play in a Tee Shirt with baggy pants and worn out or dirty shoes.

I watch SC2 matches because the commentator Lowko on youtube is funny.
SC2 is a computer game.

The billiards community is a little on the older side, outreach for new fans is through Florians trick shot videos

I cant wait to see some new player at the pool to start spinning before a shot to add some flare.

love for florian halcyon sound track

European people are so lovingly different.

It's so different nowadays. Everyone has a phone with a video screen.

When I Used to work with Pat Fleming Accu Stats video productions, it very seldom made it to TV, but he sold allot of VHS tapes. Today, almost no pool makes it to the tv screen.

Watching Josh play the other day on video/ one pocket and 9 ball bar table, he looks sharp and his game looks sharp, the game and the Production look WAAAAAAAAAAY better.

Now is the time, when everyone is still in a form of lock down, AND THE MASSES' ALL HAVE VIDEO SCREENS................NOW.

I agree. You watch a lot of these streams and and the players often dress like they hang out at the free food kitchen. The Euro streams have guys looking more like pro golfers. How hard is it to throw on a decent shirt and pants without holes and grease stains?? Just my $.02 on this, nothing more.

Even the AZ front page NOW looks....Sharp!!!

EVERONE IN THE 21ST CENTURY HAS A VIDEO SCREEN IN THEIR HAND.

dark shoes, dress pants + any shirt with a collar is a good rule. not a fan of too strict clothing codes, as in snooker or old school straight pool. just set a framework and let players choose

I agree with you.

The only thing is that it sounds like you're calling out Ra Hanna a little bit and he is already completely on board with this. He always dresses nicely and will ask players on stream to take off ball caps and tuck shirts in, etc...

He is a leader on this issue IMO.

Without the players being paid to be on the stream I don't see how the streamer can influence them more than just asking them to dress better.

You would be surprised on how serious people take you when you look nice. I am by no means a big name, but when I do a trick shot show in my dress cloths and vest (our normal dress code) I get viewed as and treated like a top name. People look at other individual sports and see professionalism ie Golf. Professionalism is more than just skill, its demeanor and image as well.

Did any of you ever wonder how humble The Magicians first pool table was.

The PI has wealthy parts but the general standard for everyone swings wildly.

I was up in northern PI and found a local table top inside a warehouse for the tribe.
But the local filipinos let me shoot on their severely substandard equipment.

And we had fun and we shared the House cue.

Point of story some people cant afford it or they don’t sell that stuff where they can buy it.

Imagine wearing a tux or suit vest in a PI pool hall, I bet jay can tell you stories about the heat or action.

Jay Helfery you want action story of heat in Pi outdoor pool hall or covered pool hall. You got anything?

It has to start somewhere, and to ask them and Explain to them Why it's too their benefit is Important.

It won't happen overnight, but it can't Hurt, and in time the pur$es and the viewership numbers should change.

Every person has a Video Screen in their hand.

That was NOT the way it was..... in the 20th Century.

T-shirts and cargo shorts. Yeah I know, marketing. In that regard, players NEED to get fit. Lady poolers that fit the tennis star silhouette would kill. Nunna dat black camo stuff...
