It's sad.....when you post something about a shot or a moment that's pretty cool, the internet will redirect, will not allow it.
Not good for our sport, or any other game/sport that's showing it's viewers special moments in play.

Nope, just the shot itself.
I linked directly to that moment, where many commented, Helfert loved it, then it was no longer linkable, and was redirected to you tube.

That is the call of the video's owner. For whatever reason the owner doesn't want it shown on other sites. Their call.

I think there is no ad revenue when embedded. One way around this for short clips is to capture it and put the clip back on YouTube.

Then you click the link, and to watch a 15-second clip you need to sit through 60 seconds of ads.

I'm not sure, but I think very short clips usually don't get ads. One way to avoid the ads is to reload the page as soon as the ad starts.

Someone has to pay for the service.

Or buy YouTube Premium for $10/month. It's worth it just for the unlimited streaming music on any device everywhere, but coincidentally you'll never watch another YouTube add again.

When I get one of those long ads I hit the refresh button and usually that bypasses the ad and takes me right into the video.
