Video walk through of installing Simonis on a 7' Diamond

oh yeah! nicely done, great stuff,
just as interesting was the video itself, overlaying the text, information very helpful

we're those go-pro's? ...one camera looked like that ZoomQn2.

The camera I had on my chest was a GoPro. The one over head was a panisonic something, and I had 2 SJ400 cameras that are just knock off go pros as the cameras I moved around.

Thanks Zach, I enjoyed watching your videos.
I have covered over 50 tables over the years but today I’m happy to pay a professional to do the job perfect. I still like watching and learning about your professional techniques.

Also I hope RKC sells a ton of that glue and changes the pool world for the better.

I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. Thanks!

Thanks, RKC
I do owe you a debt of gratitude for training me on bed and rail cloth installation.

I am one that prefers to disassemble the rails on Diamonds when I recloth them. I just find it easier and can pull the cloth tighter that way. For sure takes longer but yields better results for me.

Jack,
Do you you cover the rails with the cushion facing you? How do you keep the rails from moving around on you when you are pulling the cloth?

1/4" leg, 1/2" crown staples and a pneumatic stapler. Unlike an electric stapler, with a pneumatic stapler, you can pull the trigger and the staple hammer stays extended, then you can belt sand it flush to the nose of the gun, then it don't matter how pressure you apply to the cloth with the gun, it can't sink the staple through the cloth, or bury it in the wood, which is what causes the wood to get dug out when the staples are being removed.
So you use a "modified" pneumatic stapler? That's pretty cool.

Ok, thanks, I'm into getting things set up for camera/editing action also.

Just re-stretched mine, may have gone to far, sometimes, getting funning little rolls at
the end of the ball coming to an end of the roll. Just barely getting that 7 rails around
the table with less than break speed stroke. After thinking about now, maybe should of
shook the cloth of dust before reinstall, like beating a rug for cleaning, cloth didn't seem
bad though. If it becomes a problem, I'll start over with new, with a much better
understanding of what and how to do, thanks again.

I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. Thanks!

Great video's Zach! I love how detail oriented you are. All your tools are in order, your processes are well thought out and you obviously are a PRO! I think it is great that you are willing to share and help others, not many out there that are as open with their knowledge and I really respect that. Your video editing skills are on point as well.
Glen is putting out a video soon to, i am looking forward to seeing his. Everyone does things the way that works best for them. As long as the outcome is proper and someone could BREAKDANCE on the cloth with out it moving, YOU DID IT RIGHT! I hope I make it out that way and get a chance to work with you some time. Thanks for sharing.
