Hello, i am looking for videos of strategic patterns.

Mostly for 8 ball considering 9 ball is not about choices of balls to make in series.

Like after you break in 8 ball, what shot selections to chose and what patterns to use for a more consistent run out.

Any of you knows of videos that helps this strategic aspect of the game?

Can be from you tube or suggestions of dvd's or anything really, i am just looking for good accepted knowledge of that game aspect.

Not a video, but Phil Capelle's books are good on giving examples of layouts and patterns.

What is accu stats?

Well i have seen many matches of 8 ball but everyone do different shot selections after the break, i am just looking for ideology in that aspect of the game, doesn't mean i don't know how to run a rack :0

Do you think it's better to do series of ball on one end of the table and then move to the other end, do you prefer to keep the side shots for the middle series so that you can use them for traveling in case you missed a position play? do you prefer to break open balls at the start of the rack or towards the end?

All these kinds of aspects, i am just looking for different perspectives.

Can never learn too much.
 
Look for a book by George Fels entitled (I think) How Would You Play This?

I found it very helpful. Hope I got the title right.

Jimmy Reid's 8 ball video is what your talking about. Its 2 hrs of him breaking and explaining his run out patterns, plus some kicking advise and a shameless plug for a cue maker
